Performances and Workshops for All Ages
The ID_Tanzhaus Frankfurt Rhein-Main, an initiative of ID_Frankfurt - Independent Dance and Performance e.V., invites you to a dance festival at the Frankfurt LAB in the Gallus district. The program includes dance performances and participatory opportunities for all age groups in various dance styles from hip-hop and contemporary dance to Afrofusion and urban dance to dance theater, creative children's dance and Butoh. Childcare will be offered throughout the dance festival.
FREE Admission
ID_Tanzhaus sees itself as an initiative based on solidarity and "Frankfurt tanzt" sees itself as a festival of solidarity. We position ourselves explicitly against any form of racism, anti-Semitism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia and Ableism. There will be an awareness team on site that can be contacted at any time.

The building has a wheelchair-accessible restroom that is available to all people with visible and invisible disabilities.
Update: Change of Venue
We have looked at the weather forcast and have decided to move our event on September 17 indoors. It will take place at Frankfurt LAB, Schmidtstr. 12 thanks to their flexible accomodation.
At the same time, we would like to thank the Licht- und Luftbad (LiLu) personnel, which has planned with us up until this point. Thank you for your huge support!

The Frankfurt LAB is located on the premises of the Kommunikationsfabrik in Frankfurt's Gallusviertel. The entrance is at the southern end of the building, in the backyard.
ARRIVAL BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT
Bus
Line M34: Stop Schmidtstraße
The bus stop is located directly in front of the Kommunikationsfabrik. The entrance to Frankfurt LAB is across the street from the right narrow side (south side) of the building.
Streetcar
Streetcar lines 11, 14, 21 and N11: Mönchhofstraße stop.
The stop is located 200 meters from the Kommunikationsfabrik. At the intersection, turn into Schmidtstraße and after about 200 meters turn right into the backyard of the Kommunikationsfabrik.
S-Bahn
Lines S3 - S6: Get off at the Galluswarte stop.
Continue with streetcar lines 11 in the direction of Zuckschwerdtstraße, 21 in the direction of Nied Kirche or 14 in the direction of Mönchhofstraße to the Mönchhofstraße stop.
ARRIVAL BY CAR
From the Frankfurt West (A5) freeway intersection, take the A648 exit in the direction of F-Stadtmitte / Rödelheim. At the Opelrondell exit, take the direction of F-Bockenheim and drive in the direction of F-Rödelheim. At the Opelrondel keep right and turn right into the street Am Römerhof (signs to Griesheim/ Kuhwaldsiedlung). At the next traffic circle, take the Schmidtstraße exit. The Frankfurt LAB is then about 300 meters on the left in the Kommunikationsfabrik side entrance (from the south side).
From the city center either take Mainzer Landstraße to Schmidtstraße (turn right) or via Opelrondel and further via Am Römerhof turn into Schmidtstraße. The Frankfurt LAB is then located after approx. 300 meters on the side facing the city center in the Kommunikationsfabrik side entrance (from the south side).
PARKING
North of the building Schmidtstraße 12 (entrance gate B) there are parking spaces for which a fee is charged (4 h / 2 €). To get to the entrance of Frankfurt LAB you have to walk exactly to the opposite side of the building, either left or right around - about 200 meters.
