Voguing arised in the early 1970s in Harlem, New York. Marginalized by the white and heterosexual majority society, Black and Latinx people from the LGBTIQ+ community came together in so-called ballrooms, spaces where they could feel safe, formed surrogate families (so-called "houses"), danced and performed playfully with and against each other. Ticket neededAt the young age of 3, Panama discovered his passion for dance. Starting off with various dance styles, he got introduced to Ballroom in 2018 and would made sure to travel all over to gain his knowledge. Besides walking the balls regularly and perfecting his craft, he’s also committed to creating a community in and around Frankfurt.
