Is the Tanztag offer free of charge? At each course location there is a corresponding box. Those who wish to participate in Tanztag pay an amount of their own choice (we recommend from 5,- €) at the first visited course location and receive a wristband, which is valid for the use of the entire Tanztag course offer. The proceeds remain with Tanzplattform Rhein-Main to cover a small part of the extensive advertising costs.

What happens on Tanztag is unique in Germany: for one day, courses to try out in all dance styles - from classical ballet and contemporary dance to historical dances and flamenco to hip-hop and swing - take place throughout the Rhine-Main region. The Dance Day Rhine-Main is initiated and organized by the Dance Platform Rhine-Main, the courses are offered by many different dance schools, institutions and dance teachers* from the region. The focus of this special event is not only to make this diversity in the region visible on a single day, but also to encourage people to experience and (re)discover dancing and different dance styles.
