The performance is a staged club evening. At the entrance you will be asked who would like to take part/touch/be included in the performance.
Between club lights and bass, nightclubs open up spaces of freedom and collective ecstasy and trance — we break free from daily life, shatter societal boundaries, and forget the roles we play outside the dance floor.
In the Psychedelic Social Club, we focus on this complex social space. Backstein Kollektiv invites you to dream of freedom and escape, and to lose yourself, even if only for a fleeting moment, in this fictional club. How far is each person willing—or able—to go in surrendering to euphoria, whether as an individual or swept away in the collective experience?
