"Making Impressions and Other Failures" is a duet that explores ecstatic and peculiar gestures as a bizarre way of relating to another person or making an impression while revealing deeper layers of the self. The performers tirelessly move the set, greet the audience and improvise expressive bursts of physical energy, only to loop back to the beginning and 'do nothing'. In each loop, they strive to remember and repeat what happened before, each time seeking a deeper connection with each other and the audience. Inevitably,moving to higher extremes with each attempt, they continually pay tribute to the power of the ridiculous, the humorous and the human. To provide an appropriate setting for the work, please come dressed to impress!!

SPOTTED is a model project of the Landesverband Freie Darstellende Künste in Niedersachsen and the cooperative TANZKOOP.
